There seems to be a default superbill.pdf template used by the system - how can I add information to this template?
I need to print our superbills and forward them to my RCM companyIf the company you are referring is using ChARM Medical Billing Platform for your practice billing, then when they enable the service to your practice, you can see "Submit to RCM" option in the UI itself. Using this option, you can submit Encounters/Invoices/Claims to them electronically and they can print the data themselves.
There are hundreds templates callewd "superbill.pdf" in the charm library, however, i don't know which of those is used by default.Under "Settings > Templates > ChARM Library" section, you can click 3 dots icon associated with the template and choose "View" option to preview it.
The default superbill is great, but in most cases it doesn;t have the patient's phone number - this should be corrected because phone numbers are mandatory.You can use "${Patient.Home Phone}" and "${Patient.Work Phone}" placeholders to pull their contact number information from their record to the superbill template.
While creating the template, you can get necessary placeholder information by selecting required options in "Group" and "Field".also: do you have a more comprehensive list of placeholder strings that I could use? Especially in regard to account or encounter. thank you!
